Glimpse of Ghana

During June and July of 2003, a team of fifteen educators from Oregon traveled to Ghana as part of a Fulbright-Hayes Study Abroad Program to research the history, peoples and cultures of this fascinating West AFrica nation. Their undertaking was to gather first-hand information and resources for development of curriculum about Ghana.

Based on their experiences, the group produced a collection of lesson plans and resources adaptable to a broad range of classroom subjects and grade levels. A Glimpse of Ghana contains complete units of study, individual lessons, Power Point presentations, and puzzles focusing on geography, history, government, citizenship, economics, art, literature, poetry, and music, and nature.
